“Future Cities, Future Destinations: A Transformational Journey”

Invest Cyprus participated in the “Future Cities, Future Destinations: A Transformational Journey” Info Day on Tourism,  organized by EY Cyprus on February 17 ^th  2020.    The event was attended by government officials, mayors and city council representatives, industry executives, hotel owners and other stakeholders.

Mr George Campanellas participated in one of the panel discussions, along with Mr. Savvas Perdios, Deputy Minister of Tourism, and Mr Haris Loizides, President of the Cyprus Hotel Association.

The focus of the discussion was on the challenges facing the tourism and hospitality sector, as Cyprus seeks to become a future destination but also on the needs to adapt to new trends to drive innovation, sustainability and improve competitiveness in the industry.
